I hope that everyone is having a great Saturday this weekend. It is a beautiful day so I wanted to share a card we created at our"Retirement Party" this past month. This stamp set Secret Garden will be discontinued with our 2013/14 catalog. Sorry I have not posted this earlier, but I have been having a problem with my watermark program and had to buy a different program and like it better then then old one that I was using. It is so much easier to put the watermark on my photos. So here is a beautiful card to give to someone for a special birthday. It is a bright and cheerful birthday card. We used the secret garden stamp set and framelits that are being discontinued.
Here is the recipe:
Secret Garden (#131940 W and #129144 C) and Bring on the Cake "Happy Birthday" #128490 W & #121958 C) stamp sets - both are being discontinued
Papillon Potpourri (#132058 W & #123759 C) stamp set (the small butterfly)
Wisteria Wonder and Whisper White card stock
Gumball Green, Wisteria Wonder and Tempting Turquoise stamp pads
Secret Garden framelits (#129372)
Elegant Butterfly (#127526) and Bitty Butterfly (#129406) punches
Large Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#129324) being discontinued too
Sure hope you enjoyed your visit today. Please leave a comment about what is your favorite item being discontinued. Have a great rest of your weekend. God Bless.

Wetlands Birthday Card
Happy Tuesday everyone. It is a beautiful day in southern California today. I was able to do a little stamping this weekend, so I would like to share some of my projects with you this week. I wanted to share with you a really cool technique to do. I used the label collection frame lit on a extra piece of card stock the same size as the whisper white card stock (3.75" x 5") and used the frame lit to cut out the design, then I put it over the whisper white card stock and used the 2 two colors to sponge in color in the cut out area. I liked the sponged look on the card. This was a fun card that we made in class earlier. I thought it was a good technique for today.
Here is the recipe:
Wetlands stamp set (#126695 W or #126697 C)
Coastal Cabana, Soft Suede and Whisper White card stock
Coastal Cabana and Soft Suede stamp pads
Label Collection Frame lits (#125598)
Decorative Label Punch (#120907)
Natural 7/8" trim (#129287) - this ribbon is being discontinued

Tag Punch Side Card and Candy Holder
Happy Monday Morning. This past weekend the weather here in Southern California was beautiful. We had some wind and going down the hill into Riverside Sunday, the sky was so blue. I did work on some stamp projects this weekend. I needed some thank you notes and realized I did not have that many in my box of cards. So this week I will need to make some thank you cards. I created this thank you card for a co-worker who has been substituting in our office and today is her last day. So I have seen these tag punch on sides of cards, so I looked on line to see how to do it. It is very easy. You just need to pull the card stock up over the slider they have on the punch. I also made a candy holder but I put tea bags inside instead of candy. She likes to have tea. Usually you do not see whats inside, but the tea bags are wider and larger then candy. I think it is a great little gift idea.
Here is the recipe:
Petite Petals (#133155 clear), Your Lovely (Sale-a-bration set) and Express Yourself (Hostess set #130399) stamp sets
Real Red and Whisper White card stock
Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (#132996)
Petite Petals (#133322) and Scallop Tag Topper Punch (#133324)
Deco Labels Collection framelits (#130102)
Whisper White 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon (#126877)
Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246)
Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the thank you card and candy holder.

Happy Valentine's Day
Happy Valentine's Day. I hope that you spent time today with your loved ones. Today is my parents 56th anniversary. Congratulations mom and dad.
This is a cute valentines card that I created. It is a fun and easy card to make. The red paper with the white hearts is one of the treat bags that Stampin' UP had as a Valentine's promotion. I took the bag and opened it up and used it behind the white card stock for a great background. I used the hearts thinlits and cut out the 2 hearts from the white card stock. I also took a red Sharpie and colored the rhinestone on the small heart. The small heart is the heart small heart that the thinlits cut out.
Here is the recipe:
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set (#127802 C) happy valentines day
Real Red and Whisper White card stock
Sweetheart Treat Bags (#134610)
Red Glimmer Paper (#121790)
Hearts Collection Thinlits (#125599)
Perfect Polka Dots (#117335) and Fancy Fan (#127751) embossing folders
Full Heart (#119883) and Modern Label (#119849) punches
Real Red 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon
Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246)
Thank you for visiting today. God Bless you and your family.

Love Card
Here is a beautiful wedding, anniversary or Valentine's card. This is a card that we created in our Spring Card Class. We made this beautiful flower with our new spiral flower die cut. It is so easy to create. Once you run the die cut through the big shot and get your pattern, you roll it up and then flower loosen up and then hot glue the bottom to the 2 petals on the pattern. Then you have a beautiful flower. We made the flower in cherry cobbler card stock and the deep red looks beautiful with the gold.
Here is the recipe:
Whisper White and Cherry Cobbler card stock
Brushed Gold (#102935) and Gold Fancy Foil Designer Vellum (#133363)
Gold Sequin Trim (#132983) both in the Occasions Catalog
"Love" from the Expressions Thinlits Dies (#132171)
Spiral Flower Originals Die Cut (#129379)
Thank you visiting today. God Bless.
