Mojo Monday - MOJO88

I sure hope that everyone had a relaxing Memorial Day and took some time to remember the people of the military and veterans that have kept us safe.

Here is the card that I created for this weeks Mojo Monday sketch. We are going to be creating this card at our Butterflies/Birthday Class on Saturday May 30th. I think that I did pretty good with only a left hand (my right arm is still in the temporary cast). My right elbow/arm will be put in a cast on Tuesday. Here is the recipe for the card:

Family Tea and lunch

We had a Family Tea and lunch today. We hosted it at our home. This is a picture of my mom (Mary) and me. The other picture is of Renee (my sister), Gwen (her granddaughter) and Amber (my daughter). My Grandma Pimentel has cancer and we had to put her in a health care home in April up in Sacramento. When she moved into this home, she gave each daughter and granddaughter one of her tea pots and tea cups. Each great daughter received a tea cup. So today we hosted a Family Tea Party and lunch in honor of my Grandma.

Renee, Amber and I went up to Sacramento last weekend to see Grandma. She is doing well and has adjusted living in her new home.

Second Mother's Day Card

Here is another card I created to use for Mother's Day. It is stamped with Happy Mother's Day on the inside of the card. I love the butterfly stamp in the Great Friend stamp set.
