Flower Power Thank You Card

I purchased the Flower Power Card Elements kit on page 167 in the catalog. I have never purchased any of the kits before. This was very easy to do. All supplies are included and the directions to make the cards. Each kit makes 9 cards (3 each in 3 styles). This is one of the styles I created tonight. All you need is the Wow Flowers stamp set, stamp pads, adhesive and envelopes. Everything else is provided. Great idea for a new stamper.

We are going to creating one of the cards at the Retirement Party on Saturday. Sure hope that you enjoyed your visit.

God Bless.

Happy Father's Day

Here is the card I created for Father's Day. This was a fun card that I tried making it look like a license plate. I stamped the letter using the Jumbo Outline Alphabet and then filled in the letter with the marker.

Sure hope that you have a fun time today with your own dad. We are going to spend the day with my dad. He has four daughters, so he is special to all of us.

Have a blessed day.

Brayed Roses

Here is fun card that created after seeing how Patty Bennett used the brayer to add color to the roses. It is fun and easy card to create. There are 3 colors in the roses. First use the Manhattan Flower textured impressions die on the white shimmery card stock. Turn the flowers over so you are coloring with the brayer on side where the lines are the flowers are in (usually we use the line out). Use the brayer to add the color (rose red, blush blossom and so saffron). You start out with the darkest color to the lightest color. Run the brayer over the flower (it's OK to have no color on some space). Each color adds more color to the flower.

Sure hope that you enjoyed your visit today. This card looks so good in person. God Bless.

Graduation card for my niece Alyssa

Today is my mom's birthday, "Happy Birthday to you Mom".

Here is a graduation card that I created for my niece Alyssa. She loves the zebra print and pink. So this card was designed just for her. I used the retired graduation stamp set with basic black and rose red card stock plus the zebra print paper I found at the scrapbook store. The black ribbon on the front is from the Ribbon Originals package and also I used the scallop punch.

Sure hope you enjoyed your visit today. Again Happy Birthday Mom.

Friday Freebies - June 19, 2009

These are the two cards that will be given away on Friday under the "Friday Freebies". I will offering once a month "Friday Freebies" were I will be giving away something that I have created. How you get your name in the drawing is to comment on the posts that I post to my blog during the week of "Friday Freebies". You can leave a comment on each post for that week. Then on Friday night at 7 pm, I will take each person's name in the drawing and pull out a winner. Then I will be mailing the winner the projects for the "Friday Freebie" for that week. I will be sending envelopes with these cards (and will decorate the outside for you).

The butterfly is made with one of my favorite die cuts beautiful butterflies and one of my favorite color combo's (baja breeze and chocolate chip card stock). The daisies card is made with the printed window sheets in the Occasions Mini catalog (pg 10) using the polka dots, the daisies are made with the flower daisies #2 die cut and the corduroy buttons. Sure hope you enjoy the two birthday cards.
Sure hope you enjoyed your visit today. God Bless.

Here is sample of one of the scrapbook pages that we created at the Scrapbook Day in May. It is a fun birthday double page layout. We used the Big Bold Cupcake die cut with the Big Shot. The designer paper which is top of the cupcake is Rainbow Sherbet and that is where I got the other colors from. We used brilliant blue, green galore, apricot appeal and tempting turquoise. This was a fun and easy page layout.
