Whale Birthday Card

I have been creating cards with this whale of time bundle.  I have enjoyed using the designer paper in creating some cards.  These cards are great for anyone.  It is hard sometimes to create cards for kids and masculine cards.  

I did use our layering circles dies to cut the circle out of the basic white cardstock.  I did stamp the small fishes in black ink on the designer paper.  I did stamp the whale in pacific point on the cardstock.  You could also punch out a whale from one the whales on the designer paper.  I also added wink of stella to the whale.

Circle Celebration Birthday Card

I have enjoyed this fun stamp set in creating some cards.  This stamp set we used in my Ink Stamp & Create monthly kit.  This card is a good masculine birthday card.  I really like the colors of this card misty moonlight and granny apple green.  They look so good together.  I did use the smaller stamps in the set to make my own background for this card. 

A tip for making this card when you stamp in background cloudy looking stamp is to stamp off before you stamp on the circle.  It gives it a lighter background.  It was too dark for me.  Then you can stamp the leaves and stem stamp on it.

Floral Birthday Card

I had fun coloring on our designer paper for the beautiful floral birthday card.  I colored the flowers and leave on our True Love designer paper using our new blending brushes.  I colored in the centers first for a darker look and then moved to the outside of each flower.  After I was done coloring the flowers and leave I fussy cut them out.

I do not have a blending brush for each color that we have.  I have a blending brush for yellow, orange. red, light and dark pink, light and dark green, light and dark blue and purple.  I have a label on each color.  After I am done using the brushes I rub them on a cloth to get the color off so they are ready to use again.  I hope this tip helps you.
