Oh So Eclectic Thank You Card

I would like to share with you today a thank you card that we made in one our classes recently.  I don't know about you, but I like to have some thank you cards made and ready so I have them to use when I need to send a thank you card.  I like the how the thinlit cut the design out and O put the designer paper behind it.  The only stamping on this card is the "thank you".  Everything else was cut out with the thinlits.

July 2018 Alternative Paper Pumpkin - Pinic Paradise

Today I would like to share with you what I did with our July 2018 Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin kit.  I really do not have a need for 3 x 3 cards and the the picnic baskets.  I thought the baskets were cute but I did not have a need for them.  So I took the 3 x 3 note cards, cut the tissue paper and added thick whisper white cardstock to create the these cards.  For the basket, I took the coffee cups framelits, cut open the little envelopes and created this coffee cup card.  I have many friends that love coffee so I can really use this card more then the picnic basket.

Items used in this project:
July 2018 Picnic Paradise Paper Pumpkin kit
Thick Whisper White#140272 and Granny Apple Green #146990 cardstock
Lovely Lipstick #147140, Blueberry Bushel #147138 and Early Espresso #147114 stamp pads

Week #2 of Christmas 2018

Today's share is week #2 of Christmas.  It is Christmas card that I created using the oldest stamp set in my collection, Lovely as a Tree.  This stamp set is on wood blocks, I havd had it that long.  It is also the oldest stamp set in the annual catalog too.  There is a new stamp set, Winter Woods that has thinlits with it, but I have not purchased that bundle, its on page 27 in the Holiday catalog.

I did stamp on glossy white cardstock.  You will need to stamp you images and let it dry.  I waited about 5 minutes and then when I sponged the colors in, it smeared.   So I stamped it again and walked away and came back to it much later (about 1/2 hr) and it was good when i did the sponging.  Just a hint so yours doesn't smear too and you have to start all over.  I also put Wick of Stella under the trees to make it look like snow and a little on the trees too.

Items used in this project:
Lovely As A Tree #W128655 #C127793 and Timeless Tidings #W148939 #C148936 stamp sets
Balmy Blue #146892, Basic Black #121045 and Glossy White #144240 cardstock
Tuxedo Black Memento #132708 stamp pad
Highland Heather #147103, Coastal Cabana #147097, Balmy Blue #147105 and Night of Navy #147110
Wick of Stella #141897
Sponges #141897
